Indian Dancer at Manitou Cliff Dwellings

Located in the scenic foothills of Pikes Peak, overlooking the historic town of Manitou Springs, Colorado. The Manitou Cliff Dwellings presents a unique look at Native American culture. Wander leisurely through the preserve and explore the fascinating architecture of the ancient Anasazi. These actual ruins (c. 1100 - 1300 A.D.) provide a spectacular backdrop for the colorful Indian dancers who perform traditional dance programs June through August.

Manitou Cliff Dwellings has two museums featuring cultural displays of prehistoric Southwestern Indian artifacts in interesting and educational exhibits. Several gift shops feature Indian-made pottery, jewelry and crafts, as well as Colorado souvenirs and collectibles. Be sure to include the Manitou Cliff Dwellings during your visit to the Pikes Peak Region. The magic and mystery of Native American culture in this spectacular setting is sure to delight visitors of all ages.

Our hours are as follows:

June, July & August - 9 A.M. to 6 P.M. 

May & September - 9 A.M. to 9 P.M.

January, February & December - 10 A.M. to 4 P.M.

March, October & November - 9 A.M. to 5 P.M.

Our rates for the year 2003 are as follows:

Adults (12 and over) - $8.50

Children (7-11) - $6.50

Children (6 & under) - Free 

Seniors (60 plus) - $7.50 

People in wheelchairs and
anyone over 100 - Free

For groups of 10 or more:

Adults (12 and over) - $7.50

Children (7-11) - $5.50

Children (6 & under) - Free
