Timeline of Anasazi & World Events

Digging into the history of the Ancient Ones can be exciting and absorbing. But have you ever wondered what was happening elsewhere - in Europe, Asia or Africa - at the same time in history? We certainly have. That's why we created the following timeline that shows key events in the rest of the world alongside historical milestones from the Anasazi history.

Did you know that the Anasazi were building homes in the Bandelier National Monument area of New Mexico before Rome was founded (753 B.C.)?  Or that it was the 1870s before U.S. buildings reached or exceeded the 4 and 5- story height of Anasazi buildings built before the year 1300?

We hope you enjoy the following historical timeline of Anasazi and world events. For ease of use, we show the Anasazi history in boldface blue lettering and red links.
